To determine the compassionate actions you can take for yourself or others in challenging situations, it is essential to develop mindfulness first. Jon Kabat-Zinn describes mindfulness as “awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.” This vinyasa flow class serves as a moving meditation, offering the chance to intentionally focus on the present moment, on purpose and without judgment.
