Liability Waiver

By participating in Movement Classes and Training (as defined below) offered by Expand Positive Movement, LLC, and led by Caitlyn Casson (the "Instructor"), I hereby agree to the following:

1. That I am participating in movement classes and training, including but not limited to yoga, dance, Pilates, strength training, mobility and functional fitness, as well as mindfulness practices and positive psychology interventions (“Movement Classes and Training”), offered by the Instructor, during which I will receive information and instruction about movement, mindfulness, and positive psychology. I recognize that my participation involves physical, mental, and emotional exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury or emotional discomfort. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician or other qualified healthcare provider prior to and regarding my participation in any Movement Classes and Training with the Instructor. I represent and warrant that I am physically and mentally fit and that I have no medical or psychological condition that would prevent my full participation. I understand that the Instructor is not a medical or mental health professional, and that these classes are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages or losses, known or unknown, including those related to physical activity as well as mental or emotional responses, which I might incur as a result of participating in the Movement Classes and Training, whether in-person or virtual.

4. I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive and release any claim I may have against Expand Positive Movement, LLC, and the Instructor for injury, damages or loss that I may sustain as a result of participating in the Movement Classes and Training.

5. I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, and legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Expand Positive Movement, LLC or the Instructor for any injury, death or damages caused by their negligence or other acts, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. I have read this release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
